Dr. and Mrs. Robert B. Dallenbach
Bishop Robert B. Dallenbach, Ph.D. [photo], is a man of many talents who wears many hats in the Pillar of Fire Church. He is a long-time trustee of the organization and became the church's fifth General Superintendent when Dr. Donald J. Wolfram stepped down in summer of 2000. Locally, in addition to pastoring at Alma Temple, he serves as president of Belleview Christian College and Schools and as general manager of Christian Radio 910, KPOF, where for years he has been the voice of the morning program beginning at 5 AM. His musical talents include flute and voice. He is a photographer of professional-level skills, adept in both landscapes and portraits. Dr. Dallenbach's sermonsRev. Pauline Dallenbach [photo] is also a trustee. A granddaughter of Pillar of Fire founder Alma White, she has always had a heart for young people. For years she served as a kindergarten teacher at Belleview Christian Schools. In later years, she has written scripts for the annual kindergarten graduation program, which she also directs. A talented musician, she loves to play the violin, and before illness damaged her beautiful voice, she was a frequent soloist at the Temple and on KPOF.
In September,1999, Dr. and Mrs. Dallenbach celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary . They have two grown children--a daughter, Alma Beth Walker, universally known as Heidi, and a son, Joel--and one grandson.
